If you are familiar with the Wabtec Parts Catalog, you will find that the electronic version is very similar and easy to use. The contents have been divided into sections. Each section contains similar products. By using entries found in the Parts Catalogs menu above, you can choose which section of the parts catalog to display. When you click on the appropriate section, you will be taken to either a list of catalogs in the section or a sub-section which will again narrow down your search. You may use the Previous Index button , the Back to Section Index button, or the Back to Catalog Index button to move through the sections and sub-sections.

		By clicking on the number of the catalog itself, you will see the assembled part.
		OR
		By clicking on the page icon with the magnifying glass you will be taken to the exploded views of these parts.

When the exploded view appears on your screen, you will see numbered buttons displayed down the side of the screen, which represent the different figures or pages within the catalog. You can move through the catalog, in any sequence.

Repair parts kits (if any) can be found on the second to last page of the catalog, and the spring identification (if any) can be found on the last page.

		Once you have reached the exploded assembly that interests you, you may click on any part or callout number associated with it, and the part number will appear in the pop-up window in red lettering. This function no longer works with Microsoft Explorer 3.02. Please update you browser. By using the font icon at the top of your screen in your browser, you can enlarge the display on your screen. If you are not using the pop-up window, your selection will be displayed at the top of your screen.
		THE `Show the bill of material' OPTION
		You may prefer to look at the entire bill of material. Click in the box labelled Show the bill of material just below the Previous Index button and the part you select on the graphic will now appear at the top of your screen. You may scroll up and down the bill of material. Scrolling to the top of your screen will return you to the graphic image. Clicking again on the Show the bill of material option will again enable the pop-up window which allows you to identify the part while still viewing the graphic.

HOW TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR:

		CATALOG SEARCH
		NOTE: You may search for any assembly through the search function of this catalog. ONLY assemblies are available in the search routine. Individual parts have not been included.
		At the top of the screen is the Catalog Search menu. You may use a percent sign (%) or an asterisk sign (*) as a wild card to increase your search criteria.

		SEARCH BY ASSEMBLY NUMBER
		Enter the Assembly Number that you are looking for. Click on Search. A list of catalogs will appear on your screen. Each of these catalogs contain the assembly you were searching for. You may review the list to choose the one you would like to see. Click on `view this item'. The catalog will be displayed.

		SEARCH BY CATALOG NUMBER
		Enter the Catalog Number that you are looking for. You may use a percent sign (%) or an asterisk sign (*) as a wild card to increase your search criteria. Click on Search. A list of catalogs will appear on your screen. You may review the list to choose the one you would like to see. Click on `view this item'. The catalog will be displayed.

		SEARCH BY ASSEMBLY NAME
		Enter the Assembly Name that you are looking for. Click on Search. A list of assemblies will appear on your screen. You may review the list to choose the one you would like to see. Click on `view this item'. The assembly will be displayed.

		THE BALL VALVE SEARCH
		Finding a specific ball valve can be done in one of two ways.   1    Clicking on the button in the ball valve section brings up a search screen specifically designed to allow you to specify the type of ball valve, the size, porting and venting that you require. A list of available valves will appear on your screen. You may review the list to choose the one you would like to see. Click on `view this item'. The part will be displayed. You may return to the search page to continue your search for other valves.     2    Further down, this search screen also permits the user see a preview of which valves are currently available. By displaying the index for a specific size of valve, the preview is displayed. Clicking on any of these part numbers will display the exploded view of the valve. Technical notes concerning ball valves are found on the search page.   Handle identification is available by clicking on the symbol beside the handle when the exploded view is displayed. The Repair Parts Kits are displayed by clicking on the Kit button .
